The development of information technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 has an impact on all aspects of Indonesian society, including the court system. One of the major impacts is the implementation of electronic trial innovations or e-litigation using e-court applications in Indonesian courts with the aim of realising a faster, simpler and lower cost service system. This research aims to elaborate on the implementation of electronic trials in civil cases at the Tondano Religious Court. This research is expected to be useful for evaluation in order to improve the policy of e-court implementation in the future in Indonesia. The research method used is normative-empirical legal research method with case approach and legislation. The result of the research shows that the Religious Court of Tondano has successfully implemented the e-court system in accordance with the regulation, the obstacles faced are able to be identified and resolved by using relevant strategies to be applied in accordance with the conditions in the field.
