The role of judges as the main figure of the judiciary is in fact still faced with complicated problems. As an official in charge of handling cases, judges must maintain their integrity from acts of intervention. In the midst of the complexity of the law and the increasing workload, the fact is that judges in Indonesia actually experience gaps, one of which is the unfulfilled welfare rights of judges. In addition, the incompatibility of the dual status attached to judges also affects the compensation provided. This condition is very risky for the integrity of judges in maintaining the dignity of the judiciary. It seems that the judicial power is in need of a breath of fresh air to reform the judicial system for accountability and prosperity. Therefore, the Judicial Compensation Commission was established as a solution in addressing this crucial issue in order to redesign the harmonization of fair and prosperous law enforcement in Indonesia.
